Prices
some of our previous babies
My prices are firm.
I feel that my prices are more than fair based on the genetics of my birds, quality of care they receive and quality of life my birds receive. You may be able to find cheaper Parrotlets somewhere, but the breeder is probably skimping in some areas. I have spent a lot of time and money ensurung that my birds are paired in a way that is genetically sound for healthier babies. I have a limited number of babies every year. This allows me to provide quality care, plenty of handling and socialization, and quality of life for my adults and babies.
--Green $250
--American (Yellow, White, or Turquoise) $300
--Blue & Turquoise $400
--Dark Factor Green $500
--Olive $600
--Cobalt $650
--Mauve - $700
--Pied adds $25 to above prices
--Marble adds $50 to above prices
--Fallow adds $50 to above prices
**Prices subject to change without notice**
Their chop (vegetables, greens, legumes, fruits, etc.), which they receive daily, consists of mostly organic products, which are healthier but more expensive. They receive sprouts daily. Sprouted seeds are more nutritious than a dry seed mix. They are also provided with good quality, all natural seed mixes for lots of variety. For complete details on their daily diet, refer to the Diet page. Each baby receives lots of individual attention. So you can rest assured that you are getting a quality, healthy, friendly Parrotlet baby.

Purchasing:
***You must talk to me and be approved before purchasing a baby from me.***
Once babies begin hatching I will post group videos and group pictures on my Facebook page every few days. As babies reach 12 days old, I pull them for handfeeding and daily socialization sessions. I will also begin posting individual photos and videos on my Facebook page at the 12 day old mark. Photo and video updates will be every few days.
Once I know the sex, mutation, and quality of each baby, I offer it up for reserve to an approved home. A 50% nonrefundable deposit holds your baby until its ready to go home with you. Again, this deposit is NONREFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERRABLE.
The remainder of the balance can be paid either in installments until your baby is weaned and ready to go home with you or can be paid in full when your baby is ready.
A baby isn't considered as being held for you until I have received and accepted a deposit from you. When babies are up for reserve, the first approved person to send a deposit is the person to get that baby.
I accept cash, checks, PayPal, Venmo and CashApp. For personal checks, I must receive final payment at least one week before pickup/delivery so that it has time to clear my bank.
If you use PayPal, remember to choose the "Send money to family or friends" option or add 3% to your total purchase before sending it.
Please add "Payment for baby Parrotlet LBP )followed by that baby's number)" in the memo section so that I know what the money is for.
EX: Payment for baby Parrotlet LBP450
If you are paying by check or cashiers check I will need to receive the final payment at least a week before shipping/delivery so the money has time to clear my bank.
Babies must be delivered or shipped within one week of me notifying you that your baby is ready, unless we have made prior arrangements. If no prior arrangements have been made and you cannot accept delivery or shipment of your baby within the week following notification, I reserve the right to place that baby back up for sale. Any money you have paid up to this point will be forfeited. I just do not have the room to house babies any longer than that. Plus, they start to bond soon after weaning.
I will not allow unweaned babies to leave my aviary, so please don't ask. This is for the welfare of the bird.
Picking Up:
For people who are picking up their baby, Parrotlets will be allowed to go to their new homes at approximately 8 weeks of age, even if they are weaned before then; or 1 week after weaning, whichever is the longest.
I do not allow people to come to the aviary to pick out/up their baby. I post plenty of pictures and videos on my Facebook page, Little Booger Parrotlets and I am more than happy to email or text videos and/or pictures directly to you.
I will meet you at a local public location for you to pick up your baby. Due to time constraints, I'm not able to meet outside of Conyers. If you'll be picking up your baby, please check distances before reserving a baby. Your baby will come with a small travel cage and a package of starter foods.
If we schedule a pick up date, time, and location and you don't show; I will give you one more chance. If you miss the second scheduled meeting, I reserve the right to place that baby back up for sale and any and all money you have paid will be forfeited.
Shipping:
I will not ship babies younger than 8 weeks of age.
Shipped to most airports in the U.S. from Atlanta Hartsfield/Jackson International Airport.
I ship my babies via Delta. This is the preferred shipment method for most bird breeders. I will NOT ship them any other way, so please don't ask. I must put the welfare of each bird before anything else.
I ship only if the weather permits.
Your entire balance must be paid in full before your baby’s shipping date. This includes the purchase price of the bird, the shipping crate, and the shipping fees.
